Our dog sled tours begin with our guides explaining the operations of the sleds and how to handle the beautiful Siberian Huskies we run. We offer a 6-mile relay tour through the Middle Fork of the Swan River, which can handle up to 6 people. The tour is run as a "relay"; all guests will switch off between running the dogs, riding in the dogsled, and riding on a small passenger sleigh with the guide. The tour runs for a little more than an hour stopping along the way for everyone to trade places. The guests on the sleigh have the opportunity to take great action shots and video of the people on the dog sled.

At Winterhawk we offer the total dogsledding experience. From mild to wild, three different locations, private parties to large groups we have something for everyone. Snuggle up under the warm wool blankets and let an experienced guide do all the work or harness up and drive your own team. Afterwards, take a tour of the kennel and spend some time with the puppies.
