Our dog sled tours begin with our guides explaining the operations of the sleds and how to handle the beautiful Siberian Huskies we run. We offer a 6-mile relay tour through the Middle Fork of the Swan River, which can handle up to 6 people. The tour is run as a "relay"; all guests will switch off between running the dogs, riding in the dogsled, and riding on a small passenger sleigh with the guide. The tour runs for a little more than an hour stopping along the way for everyone to trade places. The guests on the sleigh have the opportunity to take great action shots and video of the people on the dog sled.

The golf course is situated in a beautiful mountain valley. The clubhouse sits at an elevation of 9,324 feet. At this elevation the golf ball flies farther and straighter than at lower elevations, as there is less air resistance. Typical daytime summer temperatures range from 65 degrees to 80 degrees. Quite rarely will the temperature exceed 80.

Welcome to Nordic Sleigh Rides, a truly unique Breckenridge experience. Your evening begins with a sleigh ride on custom-built Santa sleighs pulled by huge Belgian draft horses wearing antique brass sleigh bells. We offer unguided snowmobile rentals or ATV rentals in Summit County, CO. Our check-in office is in Frisco, CO just minutes from Breckenridge, Keystone, Dillon, Silverthorne, and Copper. Whatever season, we have your ride. We can accomodate all types of riding abilities by choosing from single-rider machines or double-rider machines. All rentals include helmet and gas. We will drop the snowmobile or the ATV off at the Vail Pass Recreation Area where you will ride "unguided" through the backcountry of the Colorado Rockies.

Snowmobiling is a popular winter activity. It accommodates individuals as well as large groups. Currently we operate 100 machines, all of which can either be 1 or 2 person sleds (400lb. Max.) We use Polaris snowmobiles with 550cc engines. They are all very easy to operate. Many of our guest are first time snowmobile riders. You must be 15 years of age to drive with a parent present and 18 to carry a passenger. Each of our snowmobile guides is in constant radio communication with our Base facility. And we pride ourselves on a small guide to guest ratio. All groups depart from our Base and split up on our extensive trail system. Everyone will return at the same time.

The Breckenridge Recreation Center has two pools and two spas. The Lap Pool is 25' x 75' containing over 100,000 gallons of water. It has 4 lap lanes and a depth range from 3'6" to 8' deep. The temperature is maintained between 81 and 83 degrees. The Leisure Pool is a free form pool containing over 50,000 gallons of water. Depth ranges from 0' to 3'6" to accommodate our smallest swimmers. After getting off the mountain from a day of skiing, or after a strenuous hike, the pools and spas are great places to spend some time with the family. Our Leisure Pool has a large slide that both children and adults can enjoy.

The Mission of the Silverthorne Recreations Center's Aquatic Department is to provide a safe, clean, and pleasant environment, while promoting a preventative atmosphere that allows customers to have a safe and enjoyable time at our aquatic facility.

The Breckenridge Recreation Center has 2 indoor courts and 8 outdoor courts with a certified Pro on staff. The two regular-sized indoor courts total 12,840 square feet with Laycold cushion surface for year-round play. Additionally, for summer play, Kingdom Park is adjacent to the Recreation Center and has 8 tennis courts - 4 composite surface and 4 clay. The tennis Pro organizes leagues, lessons and clinics.

The Club has roughly 160 members and growing every year. Our season kicks off with our annual "Social Spring Party" held over the Memorial Day weekend. Our sailing season starts in the first of June with an active schedule of one design and PHRF racing with events nearly every weekend from June until late September. Our season ends with the year banquet party held at the end of October. The Dillon Yacht Club is gearing up for another wonderful teaching season at the nation's highest yacht club based at 9017 feet.
