Recreational Activities : Recreation / Camps
Take a spin, try the slide, hit some balls or work up a sweat! The Breckenridge Recreation Center has so much to offer for all ages & interests. The facility features a full climbing wall, an indoor track, cardio, circuit & free weight rooms, indoor lap & leisure pools with a large slide, & indoor tennis courts. A variety of fitness classes are included with daily admission & the pro shop has plenty of gear for a great workout. Seminars & other fitness-based activities take place year-round. Recreational Activities : Swimming
The Breckenridge Recreation Center has two pools and two spas. The Lap Pool is 25' x 75' containing over 100,000 gallons of water. It has 4 lap lanes and a depth range from 3'6" to 8' deep. The temperature is maintained between 81 and 83 degrees. The Leisure Pool is a free form pool containing over 50,000 gallons of water. Depth ranges from 0' to 3'6" to accommodate our smallest swimmers. After getting off the mountain from a day of skiing, or after a strenuous hike, the pools and spas are great places to spend some time with the family. Our Leisure Pool has a large slide that both children and adults can enjoy.
Recreational Activities : Tennis
The Breckenridge Recreation Center has 2 indoor courts and 8 outdoor courts with a certified Pro on staff. The two regular-sized indoor courts total 12,840 square feet with Laycold cushion surface for year-round play. Additionally, for summer play, Kingdom Park is adjacent to the Recreation Center and has 8 tennis courts - 4 composite surface and 4 clay. The tennis Pro organizes leagues, lessons and clinics.
